Roasted macadamia and chickpeas chaat

INGREDIENTS
- 1 Cup Chickpeas, soaked overnight and cookedÂ
- ½ Cup Macadamia NutsÂ
- 1 Tsp. Red Chilli PowderÂ
- 1 Tsp. Cumin PowderÂ
- 1 Tsp. Chaat MasalaÂ
- 1 Tomato, diced Â
- 1 Onion, diced Â
- 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice Â
- 1/4 Cup Green ChutneyÂ
- 2 Tbsp. Tamarind ChutneyÂ
- 1 Tbsp. Green Chillies, dicedÂ
- Salt as per tasteÂ
- Sev, Pomegranate and chopped Coriander for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a pan dry roast the macadamia nuts for 10 – 15 minutes on a low flame. Â
- Toss the macadamias with red chilli powder, cumin powder, chaat masala and salt until the nuts are fully coated. Â
- In a bowl mix together the roasted macadamia nuts and boiled chickpeasÂ
- Add diced onions, tomatoes, green chillies, salt and lemon juiceÂ
- Add green chutney, tamarind chutney and mix wellÂ
- To serve, garnish with sev, pomegranate and chopped corianderÂ
